这是二（3）班黎想同学，她的英语水平远远超出了她的同龄人，一口流利、标准的英语口语让老师欣喜、让同学羡慕。这有赖于她的妈妈从小就有意识培养她对英语的学习兴趣，并抓住1-7岁的语言关键期进行启蒙。所以她从4岁开始真正接触英语，从唱了100多首英文歌开始，她看了很多英语动画片，同时她在幼儿园期间看的电子绘本、牛津树培生等估计超过1000多本，她很喜欢看书，也很喜欢在一些优秀的英语网站上学习，这是量的积累。下面让我们一起来欣赏黎想同学的精彩表演吧！

Hi，everyone.My name is Li Xiang. I’m from Class3 Grade 2 of Jiu Jiang Central Primary School. Today I’m going to talk about plastic pollution.

What is plastic pollution?

Plastic pollution refers to white pollution.It includes plastic lunch boxes,plastic shopping bags,pieces of bottles and other unrecyclable plastic products.Plastic rubbish is thrown away randomly in the natural environment. Do you know ?Plastics take almost 5 to 6 decades to decompose, and sometimes this period stretches to more than a million years.

Here is a picture I drew yesterday. It’s about plastic pollution in the ocean. The fishes are surrounded by the litters everywhere. And these two fishes are trying to eat plastic bags. And you know what? The fishes will be killed by the plastic pollution.

And what is more, millions of animals are killed by plastics every year, from birds to fish to other marine organisms. Nearly 700 species, including endangered ones, are known to have been affected by plastics. Nearly every species of seabird eats plastics. This environmental problem has seriously threatened the health and life of human being.

Look at the words I wrote on my picture.Yes,I want to say“ Stop plastic pollution. Save the ocean. Protect the earth. ”

With my Mum’s help I have made a PPT, I want to show you some pictures.

A 50-year-old turtle chokes on shredded plastic on the Hawaiian island of Midway, where beaches are covered with rubbish.

When I think of plastic pollution, I also think of this picture. . .    A sweet, gentle turtle, trying to eat the plastic. It makes my heart break.

Seagulls, whales, dolphins and fishes die from the plastic that we throw in the oceans and the nature.

All these pictures warn us that we have to do something right now.

Our government has announced a plan to reduce its use and production of plastic. And it’s said that China will stop using plastic packaging at postal services and plastic supplies at hotels by the end of 2025 .

For ourselves, there are also many ways to control plastic pollution,from refusing disposable products, cutting off wrapping and packaging, no littering, to recycling and reusing plastic products.

It is a long and difficult process to reduce the production of plastic, and all parts of society must work together to do this. Stop plastic pollution! Save the ocean! Protect our earth! To show your respect for nature and beings, not just say,let’s do it!
