今天是元宵节，或许你的微信群里又有一波抢红包大战要上演。可是……没想到原来老外玩微信红包也玩得很溜！

过年回来上班之后，每天迷迷瞪瞪浑浑噩噩的。

但是醒醒敲黑板！

今天是元宵节哦，抓住最后机会抢红包啊，再不抢就要被歪果仁抢完啦！

小编在上海街头调查了一些歪果仁，结果发现，老外们抢起红包来，也是如狼似虎，而且大多都是两位数的红包啊！

再看看你微信钱包里的几分，几毛钱，是不是感觉抢了假红包。 

首先，很多人在年前是不知道微信红包功能的，比如下面这个来自马绍尔群岛的妹子，Selina Leel——

“除夕夜我在我工作的学校微信群里发现一个红包，我也不知道这是什么，就点开看看， 上面显示有几块钱！”

“A group of students from the school that I am working at and some of the teachers sent out a red packet to me. I didn't know what it was. I saw it and I opened it and then I received the coin.”

结果妹子就开始抑制不住体内的洪荒之力，有红包来了就点，一共抢了7个红包，直到最后才发现，这真的是钱！！一共15块！！她的一个朋友更是不得了，抢了100块！

“I grabbed in total seven red packets. I realized only later that it was real money. I got 15 yuan! I have a friend who got a hundred.”

来自坦桑尼亚的，在上海读书的小哥Prosper Charles抢起红包来属于厚积薄发型。5块10块的，几天下来钱包就满了，一共抢到1000块！

I received 1000 yuan on WeChat from my friends. I also gave back to them like 50 yuan, 100 yuan. In a WeChat group I sent 5 yuan and they sent back 10 yuan. At the end of the day you just find your wallet is full. 

他觉得抢红包就像玩游戏，“你就点点点，一定要快快快！”当然也要一点运气，他最佳的手气是抽到100块大红包。

It's like a game. You just accept, accept, accept. It's like real quick, real quick, real quick. My luckiest draw I got from the group was 100 yuan. 

“我觉得红包功能很方便，我现在付房租就直接给房东包个红包，超级方便！” 

I think the red packet function is really convenient. Most of my payments are on WeChat. Sometimes I send rent to my landlord using WeChat hongbao. 

当然歪果仁眼里也不只是钱钱钱的，很多人借着这个机会，更好的融入中国的文化，即使发得多收得少也没事儿。

来自美国的Ryan Scott Ulrich说得一口流利的中文，他收到的最大面值是66.66的（小哥今年要66大顺了），最少的是1分钱。

“在群里面，我会看大家都拿了多少。如果我拿的是最少的，那也很有趣，因为可以把大伙儿都逗乐了。”

“The most was 66.66, the least is 0.01. Usually that's because I get a group packet and I can see how much everyone got; if I got the least, it's also very funny and everyone laughs.”

“我绝对是属于发得多收得少的，但是宝宝不在乎啊。我很高兴可以给我的家人，朋友，同事发红包表达我的祝福。只要大家抢红包玩得开心，我就开心啦！”

“I definitely sent out more than I received. However I don't mind. I'm happy to be able to give gifts to my family, friends and coworkers and feel grateful to be able to have fun by sharing my money with everyone. 

话虽如此，小哥也是有开了外挂的。

“有人说点两次会抢到大红包，我试了一次，还真灵！”

Someone taught me a trick to grab the most hongbao. I only tried once but it worked. My little cousin said a double click works well.

“我还给我在美国的妈妈发了红包，她也很喜欢这个新年祝福。”

I sent and received virtual hongbao with my Chinese families, colleagues and even my own mother. She liked the good luck wishes. 

同样来自美国的在设计行业工作的Hammans Stallings认为微信红包是个维系情感的好东西。学着中国女友，他今年也在同事群里撒了一些红包，好吧，虽然也就是几块钱。

“I received red packets and I also sent some to my coworkers in a WeChat group. I was learning from my Chinese girlfriend who did the same thing with her coworkers. I gave no more than 10 yuan. “

“在工作室里，我们没有机会发真的红包，所以我觉得发微信红包能告诉同事们我也在庆祝中国新年，我时时刻刻想着他们。”

“We didn't have a chance to give out actual red envelopes physically so it was a way to show people I was celebrating the Chinese Spring Festival and was thinking about them. “

虽然小哥的朋友们都在国外，也没有微信，但是他希望把微信红包介绍给他的朋友们，尤其是红包背后的文化。

Most of my friends are not from China and they don't have WeChat. They also wouldn't necessarily understand the red envelope concept. It could be a nice way of introducing them to it, but there is a lot of other stuff they need to know as part of the background.
